Key Learnings

What We Discovered

  • Bright red increases blood pressure and triggers stress responses. For patients already worried about health symptoms, anxiety-inducing branding is counterproductive to the care experience.

  • With 78% of healthcare searches happening on mobile devices (Google, 2024), thumb-friendly design isn't optional, it's essential for patient access and conversion.

  • A 0-15 minute wait guarantee and 5-star rating are powerful differentiators. They belong in the hero section, not buried mid-page where many users never scroll.

  • Patients don't know medical terminology. Organizing services by symptoms ("fever," "sprained ankle") instead of categories ("infectious disease," "orthopedics") removes decision anxiety.

  • Three locations with identical content equals duplicate content penalty. Each needs neighborhood-specific context for local search optimization.
